Trends Last Week ¶

Technical Roles

The week showed strong demand for software talent, with Abbott posting multiple senior positions including a Staff Software Engineer (Remote) and Database Architect role, both offering ranges up to $250k. Abbott is also seeking a Sr. Staff AI/Machine Learning Engineer ($125,700 - $251,500) in San Diego.

Scientific Research

AstraZeneca appears to be expanding their cell therapy team with multiple positions in Santa Monica, including both Senior and Associate Principal Scientist roles ($108k-$193k range).
